Practical Guide for Completing a Novel

Turn over the "WELCOME" mat, hiding the sentiment.

Ignore the dishes.

Laugh in the face of laundry. Ha, ha, ha!

Let the Sunday papers pile up unread.

Overlook the Barbies that have taken up permanent residence on the dining room table.

Bathing? Overrated.

When the school calls to say another parent is needed to go on the class field trip, say, "Sorry, I'm working today."

Never, ever, EVER turn this on...

And most of all: QUIT BLOGGING AND WRITE!

And now back to my WIP!

Okay, Sunshine! I can relate to most of your list (laundry, TV, laundry, TV) and you are so right.

This is a wonderful picture show for those of us who can't "get it" by trying to read only.

Thanks Valerie,
Barbara B

And CONGRATS on winning the gym bag prize pack at my blog! You'll love it, as well as the coupons for the free Yoplait yogurt.

Ha, ha! I loved this! I have Barbie dolls and every other kind of doll taking up residence on my table, kitchen counters, hallway--it's an epidemic. :) But I love listening to my kids play.
