Put me out of my misery...

Okay, I'm not really 4th in the library queue to read this...

While on the library site I happened to notice that the "book" I had on hold was really the CD recording version.

Oh, no. That will not do.

I jumped out of that queue into the actual-hardback-book queue and I'm at #71. Oh, and my hold? It expires June 12th of 2010. JUNE 12TH??? I may not get this till June 12th? People, this is serious.

Must. Read. Noooooooooooooow...

I don't see the grief. If I were to buy a book today and read it in the order of purchase, I'd be lucky to get to it by June 2020, at my present reading rate.

However, library books are in a different category. I read them first because I have to return them. The books I own can wait patiently.

So, yes, I see the consternation. Have you tried a different library?

This book would certainly rise to the top of the list!

Okay. When you finally get it, read it fast and loan it to me BEFORE you have to return it. Okay?

You've got to read Hunger Games first,though--it's BOOK ONE. I did read that one fast--in about 24 hours and then 4 of my kids read it before I had to return it!

Why not buy it, and then you could loan it out to all of your friends!

Okay, who wants to go in on it with me! ;)
