If writing a novel is like going to the dentist, then why do it? Aren't there more pleasureable ways to spend your time?
Yep. I feel your pain. I think creating the novel is fun. Later, holding the published volume in your hand is fun - editing until your eyes bleed-yeah that hurts, but supposedly very worth it!
